Volunteers are the life-blood of FOCUS. Without our dedicated, skilled, passionate and committed volunteers, we could not support the numbers of young people we do. Nor could we have the life-changing impact on their lives that we strive for. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, or if you just want to find out more about volunteering, please contact us.
Some of the roles that volunteers take on include:
- Helping to deliver our projects, including sessions, community action events, and group activities
- Supervise and support young people during our sessions, as they develop a range of personal and life skills
- Mentoring a young person, and supporting them with their mental health
- Creating decorations
- Admin and office support

Full training is provided along with any necessary DBS checks. Some roles and responsibilities may require additional training, or further interviews. All of our volunteers are encouraged to discuss their progression with lead staff.
