We are delighted to welcome two new members to our Board of Trustees.
Priyanka Shah and Colin Roach bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills to FOCUS. We are delighted that they have, following our thorough selection procedure, agreed to join us.
Like all of our trustees, Priyanka and Colin’s role involves ensuring that we meet our charitable aims, and that we adhere to charity law. But there’s much more to it than that. Our Board is passionate about our work and gives their time to help us to be the best at what we do.
Priyanka is an experienced and highly qualified Finance Manager. Her keen eye for numbers will be vital to us in managing our finances. She also spent time at our allotment, getting to know the team and meeting young people involved in our projects.
Colin has enjoyed a long and varied career as a consultant and project manager, specialising in strategic development. Like Priyanka, he’s thrown himself into our projects to get under the skin of FOCUS and to understand how we support young people.
In addition to Priyanka and Colin, our recent trustee recruitment drive has attracted a further 14 applications! We look forward to welcoming more trustees onto the Board in the coming weeks.
