Vivian Hunter is the Nottingham Challenge Program Manager for FOCUS
Unlike anyone else you’ve ever met, I am an immortal warrior who possesses super human strength and I am cunning with no weaknesses!!
I have four children of who three are female teenagers, and one teenage son, a family pet dog (Doberman-with powers of his own!) of four years.
In my free time I like to pursue leisure activities such as listening to music, visiting the gymnasium, socialising with friends, visiting relatives, and generally chilling out (additional to the immortal stuff).
I was attracted to FOCUS as an organisation as it’s aims, and missions, parallel my own personal vision in working with and for young people, unlocking their true potential, and supporting them to make a positive contribution to their communities.
My aims with FOCUS are to have an impact on, and to further contribute to its aspirations and ambitions for future prosperity, facilitating young people in their personal and social development, as they move through that difficult transition from childhood to adulthood.
Prior to joining the FOCUS team I worked in the statutory sector for five years, in a variety of roles. The latter being as Youth Development Worker for the Youth Service where I led a team of part time youth workers and volunteers in the west area of Nottingham. I look forward to a bright future with FOCUS. Vivian (the ultimate) Hunter.
