I moved to Leicester from Wales in 2004 to study History at DMU, and while taking some time out from my studies in 2006 I found out about FOCUS through a friend and applied for a temporary job in the lead up to Christmas to do admin work, alongside my boring bank job (the perfect disguise for any superhero). I quickly got the ‘FOCUS bug’ and luckily I was asked back as administration & fundraising assistant in early 2007, I soon left the world of banking and joined FOCUS on the Inspire residential and got the chance to see first hand what a difference FOCUS makes.
I have since been promoted to Office Manager where I ensure the smooth running of the office and manage the financial systems, which makes me very popular around the office on payday!
