Mark Bennett (Chair), MA, Worldwide Operations Manager / Project Manager for IBM (for a Social Services software product), long-term FOCUS volunteer & Project Manager. Former roles - counsellor on camp for hyperactive teenagers, Special Needs assistant. Skill areas: project management, working with young people and those with special needs / disabilities.

Daniel Hyde (Treasurer),Financial Controller for private equity group. Skill areas: financial control and reporting, audit, taxation.

James Maxwell Scott (Secretary), MA, ex-FOCUS volunteer, now Barrister. Skill areas: volunteer management, legal issues, working with young people.

Bryan Stevens, MA, retired Director of Involvement and Participation Association (vol organisation), now Advisor. Currently Board Member, Xansa Employee Trust Company Ltd; Trustee Intermediate Technology Development Group (ITDG). Martin Gilbraith, BA, MA, now Director of ICA:UK, a small national & international charity working to enable people to bring about positive change in themselves, their organisations and communities; and Trustee of ICA International. Skill areas: facilitation, training & development; social enterprise; voluntary sector leadership, management & governance.

Sally Edwards, BA, ACIM, Marketing and Communications Consultant. Prior to moving into PR and Marketing, spent a number of years working with the long-term unemployed and school leavers with special needs. Skill areas: strategic planning, marketing, PR and publicity.

Lisa Egan, BA (Hons), full-time student MA in Cult Film & TV. Former FOCUS participant, former staff member, and long-term FOCUS volunteer. Member of Transport for London's Surface Transport Design Forum, stand-up comedian, writer (including for the BBC's disability website 'Ouch!'), has appeared on local and national TV and radio talking about access and the Disability Discrimination Act. Skill areas: access, disability rights, the social model of disability, and working with young people.

Debra Maguire, BA, PgDL, FOCUS volunteer and Solicitor in the civil litigation/dispute resolution department at Neil Myerson Solicitors, Greater Manchester. Skill areas: legal issues, negotiation and dispute resolution, working with young people and people with disabilities.

Thea Mills, BA, CMCIPD extensive experience in human resources management, with specialist interest in equality and inclusion, personal development and training. Skill areas include coaching and mentoring and facilitation, utilised often in education and business partnership liaison.
